Extended Care/Day Camp

There may be times when parents are not able to pick up their children at 3:00 PM when the school day is over or when parents have no one to care for their children when there is no school. Therefore, Extended Care is offered for elementary age children who attend CLS.

Included in the Extended Care is a snack and juice. A short devotional and prayer, help with their homework, and various indoor and outdoor activities are provided for the students.

The Extended Care hours are from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM. The charge for Extended Care is $4.50 per hour or $2.25 per 1/2 hour. We close at 6pm sharp. We are not licensed to operate after 6pm. A fee of $1 per minute will be charge for pick-ups after 6pm.

Children must have an application on file to be included in the Extended Care program. Applications can be picked up in the main office of CLS.

Time of Attendance

Extended Care

6:00 am to 7:45 am and 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm on regular school days
6:00 am to 7:45 am and 15 minutes past the time of early release to 6:00 pm on early release days.
6:00 am to 6:00 pm on School Off Days - full days no longer than a ten-hour day.

Day Camp

Day Camp begins as early as 6:00am until 7:45am; and in the evening, 3:15-6:00pm.

Application on file, AND parent sign-up (no call-ins accepted) on the door of the Extended Care Room. The sign-up sheet is posted one week prior and is taken down the day before.
